Yatto! it's playball again! 'Twas a long yet unforgettable offseason. Not to mention the coconut palace event of the year :-)

Spring training is almost over and MLB 2007 season will formally start in just a few days. Surely, another exciting season, full of fun and surprises. And I'll begin with my predictions.


AL MVP : Hideki Matsui, New York Yankees
My favorite all-time baseball player so far and my franchise player in fantasy.

NL MVP : Albert Pujols, St. Louis Cardinals

AL Rookie of the Year : Daisuke Matsuzaka, Boston Red Sox
Former Seibu Lions' ace, 2006 WBC MVP and the pitcher with the so called gyroball. Boston Red Sox payed a whopping $51M to Seibu just to negotiate to Matsuzaka (to his agent, actually). But fortunately, BoSox was able to signed him with a 6 year, $52M contract.
